A Beginners Guide To Taking Sun Chlorella

If you're new to superfood supplements, chlorella is an excellent choice for boosting your overall wellness. This freshwater green algae is rich in protein, vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants. By incorporating chlorella into your daily routine, you can support everything from immune function to digestion.

But if you've never taken chlorella, you may wonder how to add it to your diet. Read on for a beginner's guide to taking chlorella supplements and maximising the health benefits of this superfood.

What Is Chlorella?

Chlorella is a single-celled type of algae that grows in fresh water. It has a high chlorophyll concentration, protein, and other potent phytonutrients like carotenoids and omega-3s. Chlorella has been used for centuries in traditional medicine to detoxify the body, purify the blood, and promote digestion.

Modern research has confirmed many of chlorella's health properties, including:

  • Strengthening the immune system
  • Detoxifying heavy metals and toxins
  • Improving blood sugar and cholesterol
  • Providing antiviral and antimicrobial activity
  • Enhancing liver function
  • Slowing the ageing process

How to Take Our Chlorella Supplements

Our chlorella supplements are available in powder, tablet, extract, and capsule form. Powders can be easily added to smoothies, juices, oatmeal, and baked goods. Tablets offer portable convenience, while capsules provide consistent dosage.

The standard daily dosage for chlorella is around 2-3 grams. Start with a smaller dose of 1 gram (1,000 mg) daily for the first 1-2 weeks. Gradually increase to the total dosage over time. Taking chlorella with food may help avoid initial digestive side effects as your body adjusts.

Spread out your dosage throughout the day for consistent nutrient absorption. Taking chlorella first thing in the morning and before bed is ideal. Most of our supplements provide recommended serving sizes.

I have experienced terrible inflammatory pain before, but it had gotten a whole lot better over the last years. I started on Sun Chlorella a couple of weeks ago. I started taking 3-4 tabs in the morning and again in the evening. The box says take 15 a day. At first I felt wonderful, taking it, but I increased my dose a total of 10 tablets a day, and today I have had terrible inflammatory pain throughout my body. Is this common, and does Sun Chlorella over time get rid of the inflammation in your body? Or does it mean I should not take any more of it? Please respond!
